CHIPPENHAM & DISTRICT SUNDAY LEAGUE DIVISION TWO: Hopes Faded
AFTER dropping a vital two points at the weekend in their battle with Box Rovers to the Division Two title, Trowbridge-based Faded FC made the long trek to Goatacre for their first meeting of two meeting in 6 days with Calne United.
Their hopes were all but ended following a 1-0 loss to Pete Horne’s side.
After a goalless first 45 minutes, Matt Fenn struck the only goal of the game to give United the edge ahead of Sunday’s rematch.
