DESPITE the mass exodus from Trowbridge Road manager Rob Mallett is hoping to rejuvenate his team with some new signings.
After the departure of Danny Greaves, as expected, many of Bradford’s players have opted to join him at Frome Town.
However, Luke Curtis, Ashton Stanley, Richie Chandler and Martin Lenihan have all agreed to return to the Toolstation League side.
Mallett, who was brought in to replace Greaves, says he’s delighted to see some of last year’s players return, especially after meeting with them last week.
“I met with the remaining players this week and set out my plans for the season ahead,” said the new Bradford boss.
“I’m pleased they’ve bought into that and have seen what I am looking to do here.”
While he was able to convince four to stay, the former Cadbury Heath manager says he is hoping more will follow suit next week and hopes to add some fresh faces.
“I’m hoping a couple more will commit and then I’m meeting with potential new signings next week to sign up as well,” he added.
“We are hoping to go one better than last season this time out and kick on as a team to meet our aims.”
