WESTBURY United made it six wins from six in the Toolstation League Premier Division as they ran out 4-1 winners at Bath side Odd Down on Saturday.

United dominated the first half, Callum Demkiv missing a couple of early opportunities before giving the visitors the lead after the half-hour mark.

The lead was doubled in astonishing fashion as goalkeeper Gareth Evans, who had returned to Westbury earlier in the week following an injury to regular gloveman Ed Baldy, punted the ball downfield and watched as it bounced over his opposite number Dan O'Brien and into the net.

Westbury had all but wrapped up the points before the break as Joe Stradling fired another superb effort past O'Brien.

Odd Down reduced their arrears with 20 minutes of the match remaining but Westbury had the final say as Dan Kovacs stepped off the bench and netted from the penalty spot having himself been brought down.

The news was less good for Bradford Town, who slipped to their third defeat of the Premier Division campaign after being thumped 6-2 at Bridgwater Town.

Trailing 4-0 at the break, Bradford's woes got worse as Josh Witcombe was sent off for violent conduct, Dan Cottle and Jack Witcombe netting the consolation strikes.

Goals from Rob Mitchell, Josh Brigham and Jamie Walters handed Devizes Town the spoils 3-1 in their eventful Toolstation League First Division derby against Calne Town at Nursteed Road, a match which featured three red cards.

Matthew Hudson scored but was also sent off, along with teammate Dan Sibley for the Lilywhites, while Brigham also saw red for the home side.

Corsham Town were held to a 1-1 draw by Cheddar at the Southbank, Dan King on target for the home side.

Chippenham Park had Enock Loc and Caine Bradbury sent off as they slipped to a 4-1 defeat at Welton Rovers, while George Butler scored twice in Warminster Town's 3-2 defeat at Bishop Sutton.

In the Hellenic League, Malmesbury Vics' recent run of good form came to an end as they were defeated 3-0 by Clanfield (85) at the Flying Monk Ground in Division One West.

Royal Wootton Bassett Town surrendered a first-half lead to draw 1-1 away to Brackley Town Saints in the Premier Division.

Mark James had fired Sam Collier’s side ahead, but his goal was cancelled out in the second half.
