Adver Sport assess the performances of the Swindon Town players in today’s 0-0 draw away at Cambridge United in League Two.

Luke McCormick: 7

Made a few smart saves to keep Town in the game and was one of the main reasons they did not lose that.

Kyle Knoyle: 7

His link-up play down the right was tidy and put in some decent crosses as Town looked for a winner. Always a reliable option in the team.

Dion Conroy: 7

Battled well with Jabo Ibehre and made a vital interception when Hepburn-Murphy looked set to tap home during the early part of the second half.

Luke Woolfenden: 6

Seemed a little lacking in intensity at times and nearly cost Town a goal with a half-hearted header back to his goalkeeper.

Ali Koiki: 6

Very much a Jekyll and Hyde performance from the left back. Gave it away cheaply on occasion but also produced some quality going forward.

Danny Rose: 6.5

Not as good as he was against Oldham, but you can tell he really is benefitting from a continuous run of matches. Subbed.

Michael Doughty: 7

Tried to run things from midfield and had a couple of decent efforts saved, including the potential winning goal from a well-taken free-kick late on.

Kyle Bennett: 6.5

Another one that tried to make things happen, but often spent too long on the ball and could have pulled the trigger earlier than he opted to.

Kaiyne Woolery: 5.5

Went from industrious early on to invisible in the second half. Had one shot of note, but offered very little else.

Ben House: 5.5

Tough gig for the loanee in his first start for the club, but his touch was quite poor a lot of the time and failed to make much stick. Subbed.

Keshi Anderson: 6.5

Another player who put himself about a bit, but was lost playing with no real intensity. Subbed.

Substitutes:

Theo Robinson: 6.5

(For House, 63) Wellens said he didn’t really want to put Robinson on due to the striker not being fully fit, but he still put himself about and caused problems for the Cambridge centre-backs with his hold-up play.

James Dunne: 6.5

(For Rose, 63) Came on with half an hour to play and stopped any United counter-attacks well. Also booked for a cynical foul during a Cambridge breakaway.

Marc Richards: 6

(For Anderson, 77) Not sure why, but he seems to have lost his knack of turning up in the right place at the right time. I don’t remember him being involved in much at all in his brief cameo.
