FORMER Melksham Town manager Kieran Baggs has signed for Toolstation Division One outfit Warminster Town as a player-coach.
The club announced the news on Wednesday evening, saying Baggs' signing would add valuable experience to the club while the winger would 'add another great option to our midfield and forward line.'
Baggs has been out of football since leaving the InfiLED Arena side in March, following a fall out with the club's board over the future of the club.
Several of the playing squad at Melksham also left the club in the wake of Baggs' departure before assistant manager Luke Ballinger took up player-coach responsibilities until the end of the season.
However, keen to continue his playing days for the time being, Baggs has signed for Warminster and is set to take up the role as player-coach for the 2019-20 season.
The Maltmen finished sixth last term after remaining unbeaten for their final eight matches and believe the signing of Baggs will help them in their quest to improve in the upcoming term.
