TROWBRIDGE RFC are to host a National Rugby Camp next week.

Organised by Zeus Events, the camps are designed for boys and girls from the ages of six to 16 and cater for all abilities. Sessions will be led by high-quality coaches and professional players.

All attendees will receive a free gift and there are certificates on the final day of camp for players who have shown great potential and upheld the core values of rugby.

The camp in Trowbridge takes place at the club’s Doric Park home between Monday, July 29 and Wednesday, July 31.

Trowbridge RFC deputy duty manager Julie Sheppard said: “I am thrilled that Trowbridge will be hosting a National Rugby Camp this month.

“It will give the youngsters an incredible opportunity to learn from some of the very best in the sport and develop rugby’s core values of teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship.

“This will be a memorable three days for them which should increase their appetite for the game of rugby.”

Zeus Events co-founder Adam Clayton added: “We’re delighted to be launching the National Rugby Camps across three locations during the summer holidays.

“They provide the perfect opportunity to learn from some of the country’s greatest coaches and players.

“Participants will not just learn technical and tactical aspects of the game but we’ll also instil the values that make rugby the beautiful sport it is.”
