SWINDON Town loanee Joe Romanski scored a stoppage-time equaliser to snatch Melksham Town a Southern League Division One South point on Saturday following a 2-2 draw at home to AFC Totton.

Richard Fey's side looked on course to suffer a disappointing defeat at the InfiLED Arena as the clock ticked over after the end of 90 minutes.

However, defender Romanski was on hand to head home a corner three minutes into added time to ensure the contest finished all-square.

That was the second time Melksham came from behind to level proceedings on the day, with Luke Ballinger netting half-an-hour into the second period after Mitchell Byrne had given Totton the lead in the first half.

The visitors responded swiftly to Ballinger's leveller, retaking the lead through Silvano Obeng with three minutes to go, only for Romanski to have the last word before the final whistle.

The match had extra significance for Melksham player Dave Thompson as it marked his 300th game for the club.

There had also been celebrations at the InfiLED Arena before the game as the club unveiled a new strip featuring sponsors Wiltshire Tyre & Autocentre.

The agreement will see the Melksham-based company sponsor kit for every one of the club's sides, from U6s to the men's first team.
