CORSHAM Town lost in the Hellenic Premier League for only the second time this season on Saturday after Bradford Town won 3-0.

The Bobcats scored three times in 14 minutes at the Southbank ground as Kieran Baggs’ men were taken apart on home soil.

A goalless first half made way for a 45 that featured two penalties for the visitors - the first of which arrived when Mark Cooper brought down Jake Brown and Bradford captain Ross Lye converted.

George Box finished off a well-worked second in the 77th minute before the second penalty of the day was buried by Charlie Walton in the 83rd minute to seal the win.

Corsham were denied the chance to bounce back on Tuesday when the club’s trip to Lydney Town was postponed.

Elsewhere, Fairford Town beat Westfields 2-0 at Cinder Lane despite seeing Matthew Sysum sent off for two yellow cards.

Goals from Allando Davis and Robbie James sealed the points for Fairford.

Shrivenham drew 0-0 away Thornbury Town on Saturday, while Calne Town continued the club’s wretched run of form with a 2-1 defeat at home to Roman Glass St George.

Keiron Gleed equalised for Calne, only for the Lilywhites to concede a 92nd minute goal to see a point slip away.

On Tuesday night, Calne did manage to secure a point - their first in six matches - thanks to a 1-1 draw away at Tuffley Rovers.

Declan McStravick curled in a 23rd-minute opener before Tuffley equalised on the stroke of half-time.

In Royal Wootton Bassett Town’s only game this week, Sam Collier’s men lost 2-1 at home to Brimscombe and Thrupp on Tuesday - John Mills was Bassett’s scorer.
