BRADFORD Town made it back-to-back wins last week in the Hellenic League Premier Division following positive results against Hallen and Chipping Sodbury Town.

The Bobcats moved up to sixth in the table as a result of a 3-2 win away at Hallen on Saturday and a thumping 4-0 win on the road on Tuesday night.

Jacob Brown netted twice in the weekend victory after George Box had grabbed his customary goal to complete the scoring.

Brown and Box scored again in midweek, following Rob Hobbs’ and Charlie Walton’s interventions in the first half. Walton endured a mixed night though as he was sent off in the 41st minute via a straight red card.

Elsewhere, Westbury United drew 2-2 in their only game of the week as Joe Stradling and Ryan Bole netted.

Ross Langworthy scored a hat-trick for Fairford Town in their 4-0 weekend victory away at Lydney Town - George Peare completed the scoring.

Shrivenham came from behind to beat Hereford Lads Club 2-1 on Saturday thanks to goals from Jonathan Peachey-Score and Tyger Hall.

In midweek, Corsham Town scored two late goals to beat Lydney Town 2-0. Gary Higdon bagged a 70th-minute goal before substitute Matt Morris found the net in the 86th minute.

Elsewhere, in the Southern League Division One South, Melksham Town recorded a thrilling 4-2 victory over Willand Rovers last weekend.

Albie Hopkins put Melksham in front before an own-goal from Josh Searle doubled the hosts' lead.

The visitors showed good character to square the game up in the second half, but it Melksham who came on strong near the end to secure all three points.

Jake Mawford scored in the 79th minute, and Sam Hendy netted in the dying moments to kill the game off.

In the Western League Division One, Warminster Town maintained their promotion challenge thanks to a 2-0 win away at Bishops Lydeard as Jack Miluk and Craig Shepherd netted.

Devizes Town remain rooted to the foot of the table following a 4-2 defeat at home by Odd Down Bath.

Dan Sibley and substitute Logan Cassidy scored Devizes’ consolation goals.
