The Swindon Town Supporters Trust have confirmed that Wrexham AFC fans will not be sold tickets in the home end for the Boxing Day clash.

Swindon Town announced they would be offering a special hospitality package for the match, in partnership with Leonardo Hotels, and this would involve an overnight stay and a ticket in the Don Rogers Stand.

The details of the package caused many Town fans to speculate that away fans would be sitting in the home end for the game at the expense of local supporters.

STFC Questions on X, formerly known as Twitter, posted a screenshot of the Swindon ticket website, which showed that three blocks in the middle of the Don Rogers Stand were unable to purchase, and the general commotion caused the Trust to seek clarification from the club about the issue.

In a statement on social media, TrustSTFC confirmed that Wrexham fans would not be sitting in the home end, with the circa 60 tickets designated for the hospitality package being available for home fans only.

It was also stated that the Stratton Bank would be open for the first time this season to seat the travelling support of the Welsh club.
