BRADFORD Town finally hit their goalscoring stride as they registered their second 4-1 victory in four days in Wednesday’s derby clash with Devizes, to the delight of boss Paul Shanley.
Matt Cooper netted a hat-trick and Martin Johnson also fired home as Rob Mitchell replied for the league bottom club.
Cooper, along with Matt Minnis, Dan Shanley and Jake Hiscocks, also found the net in Saturday’s victory over Welton Rovers.
Shanley said: “We were struggling to find the net before these two games and then, typically, we scored eight in two matches.
“We hadn’t been taking our chances in the games before that and that was the difference this time.
“(Against Devizes) we scored two goals in a minute and once we got the third early in the second half it was game over really.’’
Bradford face Wessex League Bemerton Heath Harlequins in the Wiltshire Senior Cup tomorrow – a repeat of last year’s final which Heath won.
