Victors with a well deserved win were 15-year-old Luke Fothergill and his dad Kevin from Bath with a respectable weight of 57lb 9oz of carp, taken on pole-fished pellets.
Just one fish away came 11-year-old Pearce Sherriff and dad Peter from Portishead with a carp catch weighing 51lb 10oz, taken on legered luncheon meat.
Eight-year-old Ciaran Withers from Bristol fished with his grandfather Eddy to take third prize with a carp catch weighing 24lb 5oz.
