CORSHAM opener Peter Dennett has topped the Wiltshire batting averages in his first full season in Minor Counties cricket.
The county averages were released today and show that Dennett scored 409 runs in his eight innings at an average of just over 51. His top score was 136.
Seamers dominated the bowling averages, with James Hibberd top with 22 wickets at a shade under 13 each.
Skipper Richard Bedbrook, in his first season in charge, had a good all-round season. He made 219 runs at an average of over 43 and took 19 wickets at under 28 apiece.
