Westbury Ladies are looking for a new head coach after Jack Bates announced he would be stepping down at the end of the season due to family commitments. Some info about Jack: He’s coached us for the last four years and helped us clinch our first season win last year completely undefeated. Jack will remain as head coach until the end of the season where we are vying to defend our title.

Secretary Becs Lamb said: “Westbury ladies are a great group of girls with a strong management team and assistant coaches that would be able to offer the head coach all the support and assistance needed.”

“We don’t really have any prerequisites for a head coach – we are happy to put you through any coaching courses required, the most important thang to us is that you are able toc omit to the team in the same way the ladies do and help take the second from strength to strength.”

Anyone interested in applying for the position should contact Lamb on 07885270376 or email westburyladiesrefc@hotmail.com.

After a few weeks off, Westbury returned to action at the weekend with a 34-12 win over Aretians.

Jess Wells scored a hat-trick and Chantelle Rugman, Maisie Chester and Lana Plummer also touched down.
