Although the word Crusoe conjours up images of being cast away, Gavin Robertson’s one-man show, which plays at Trowbridge Town Hall on Friday, February 28, looks at solitude from a number of different angles.
Robertson, right, who has taken this show worldwide, creates an urban and cinematic world where a hitman, a ‘middle-aged white male’ and an Alzheimer’s sufferer share their stories and thoughts.
Watch out for the perils of being single, the classic Crusoe story and Big Bang Theory all in the mix, with dark humour and an original and atmospheric soundtrack.
Tickets, £10/£8, £8 apiece for groups of four or more, available now from 01722 321744 or at www.trowbridge arts.com
