This is the world premiere of a show by Annie Siddons about escape, love, survival and art. And pigeons.
Raymondo and Sparky have been locked in the cellar underneath their house for six years. An accident involving a pigeon enables their escape. But do the brothers have the requisite skills to survive a haphazard and cruel world?
Simply told by a woman with a microphone (Annie Siddons) and an atmospheric live score of guitars, loops and keyboard, performed by Daniel Green, Raymondo is a raw, dark, funny and tender lyrical narrative that will go straight to your heart – the script has been described as almost Shakespearean in its mix of the ethereal and the earthy.
Age guidance 14 plus (contains some strong language and sexual references).
