I READ with great interest that free car parking may be returning to Westbury town centre, with the town council picking up the £35,700 bill. 
So it’s fair to say that there is a cost to the council tax payers of the town. I wish them luck and I hope the town benefits from the move.
I’m sure that I’m not the only local councillor that will be watching with interest, and I can’t help wondering if this is something that may work in Melksham if we can get it.
