MAY we through your paper thank all the people in the Devizes area for their support for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. 
In the year September 2015 to September 2016 the amount collected was £29,345.42. For the year September 2016 to September 2017 the amount to date is £28,097.63 with still six months to go.
Also many thanks to all the volunteers who stand out in the November weather to collect for us, and the businesses all around the town and surrounding area, who put in boxes and poppies. Without their help we would not be able to raise the monies.
