I am writing to ask if you would bring to the attention of your readers to the fact that the lily that is used liberally today in bouquets, etc, and sold to the general public, is lethal to all cats.

Contact with the pollen, even in the smallest amount, either directly from the flowers themselves or from the hands of someone who has been touching the flowers, is enough to kill any cat, once it is on their coats.

How? Cats lick themselves to keep clean and thereby the pollen is transferred from their coat to their mouth and into their system, bringing death to them in a very short time.

If you love pet cats, please do not have lilies in your house or your garden, for the lilies grown in gardens are also lethal to all cats.

It’s a case of ban lilies from your house and garden if you want to keep your cats safe and well.

If you have any doubts about this information, consult your vet, who will confirm this information to you.
