Body of man found in Gastard barn
The body of a man missing from the Bath area was found hanging in a barn in Gastard, near Corsham, on Saturday.
The man, who has been named locally as Derek Goodson, was found in the barn shortly after midday by Wiltshire Police officers. His death is not being treated as suspicious.
Mr Goodson was reported as a high-risk missing person by Avon and Somerset Police just after 10pm on Friday.
It is understood his family had asked the police to check the barn after he went missing from the Bath area.
A motorcycle believed to belong to him was found outside the barn.
The coroner has been informed.
