Members of the public and police staff have only two days left to apply to become a police officer with Wiltshire Police.

The recruitment campaign for police officers opened at 10am last Tuesday and closes at 10am on Friday, giving applicants 10 days to apply. With the closing date fast approaching, candidates only have a short amount of time left to register their interest.

Applicants must apply via the online pre assessment tool which can only be accessed on the following browsers; Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 3.6, Google Chrome 8, Safari 5 (Mac and PC).

The online pre assessment tool has not been developed for mobile platforms (iPads, tablets, iPhones etc) so applicants will need to use a laptop or normal computer.

To apply, follow the link to the pre assessment tool: http://apollo.adc.uk.com/s/wiltspcnov2013 The link is also available on the Wiltshire Police website at www.wiltshire.police.uk and the Wiltshire Police social media Facebook and Twitter sites.

The last recruitment campaign took place in January and applicants were given a small window of time in which to apply.

Chief Constable Pat Geenty said: “Although the service is facing many challenges, policing remains an excellent career choice.

“It offers an exceptionally diverse career in public service, offering individuals the chance to make a real difference to local communities.”
