Melksham council trims food festival input
Melksham Town Council has agreed to restrict the amount of officer time it spends on planning next year’s Melksham Food Festival.
It was felt the town council were committing too much time to the popular two-week festival and administrative staff will now be allocated 160 hours to spend planning the event at Melksham House.
The town development committee also discussed withdrawing support for the other events of the town’s annual food festival, and focusing purely on the fair.
