It is very sad, but I think understandable, that Knees are leaving Trowbridge town centre.
I have, for many years, visited what used to be a thriving, busy town, but in recent times there has been a sure and steady decline It has become a fragmented ghost town. Knees must have struggled with so few people shopping in the town centre. I suspect that, for the business to survive, there was little option but for them to re-locate.
It would appear that the council is determined to promote the increase of out-of-town retail, rather than supporting trade in the heart of Trowbridge.
My friends tell me special thanks should go to Marcus Holbrow, managing director, for his dedicated, courteous and helpful approach, which is reflected in the retail staff’s customer service. I wish Knees every success at Spitfire Park.
