Winsley pupils to get in character for World Book Day

First published in News

Winsley Primary School is holding a range of activities on Tuesday, March 11 to celebrate world book day.

Pupils will dress up in their favourite book character, bring in any unwanted books to swap with their classmates and share their favourite stories.

There will also be a book mark competition where pupils have the opportunity to design and make a book-themed bookmark to enter both Winsley’s and World Book Day’s competition.

Every child will also be given a £1 book token to be used at local stores or via the Scholastic Book Club.
