The sixth annual Keevil Scarecrow trail takes place this weekend, themed around historical British figures.

Scarecrows for this year’s trail, which runs tomorrow and Sunday, 10am-4pm, were made by local artists Joanna May and Eleanor O’Brien.

A £100 prize will be awarded for the first correct solution drawn, donated by Stephen Graver Kitchens, and there will also be a children’s trail.

The trail will be opened by BBC Flog It! presenter Paul Martin and there will be a barbecue, bar, tea and cakes, sweet shop, ice cream, face-painting, tombola, children’s games and a raffle.

Entry is £3 for adults and £1.50 for children, with all the money raised going to Keevil Church of England Primary School. See www.keevilscarecrowtrail.co.uk
