Wiltshire's Paralympic medallist Stephanie Millward will be visiting Dorothy House in Winsley tomorrow to open the hospice’s grand summer fete.
Stephanie, who lives in Box, will cut the ribbon at 1pm and will be joined by Trowbridge mayor Cllr Glyn Bridges, who chose the Winsley-based hospice as his charity of the year.
Organiser Emily Knight said: “The fete includes a dog show for the first time. We also have dozens of stalls, games and entertainment, including a performance by local dance group Dance Infusion, jazz in the refreshment marquee and a hog roast.”
The fete runs from 1pm to 4pm, and admission is £1 for adults, with accompanied under-16s free.
