Around 10,000 runners, including 35 from Avon Valley Runners, entered the 26th Bath Half Marathon.
First back for AVR around the two lap course was 117th placed Kevin Sparey in 1:19:58, from 134th placed Alistair Bartlett in 1:20:48 and 194th placed Doug Barber in 1:23:34.
The ladies were headed home by Jackie Rockliffe, who recorded 1:26:29 to finish as fourth lady veteran.
Rosemary Barber had a good run to finish as second lady over 55, recording 1:39:38; as did Susie Phillips whose time of 1:58:56 was good enough to land third spot in the same category.
