A MEMBER of the public, who was out taking a walk, stumbled across three cannabis plants in a field in Trowbridge last night.
Police were called just after 5.30pm to the field near Silver Street Lane after the plants were discovered in a hedge.
It is believed the area had cut back in attempt to hide the plants which officers understand have only been in place for a few days.
The three plants have now been collected and destroyed by Wiltshire Police who are carrying out further enquiries.
Anyone with information on this incident should call police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously if preferred.
