HERE is something interesting – we often hear of people being told by their doctor they have X months to live. I was examined by a doctor recently and he said, given the condition of my heart, veins and arteries, I will live to be 100.
I looked at him hard and thought he was joking. Then I realised he is serious. A number of thoughts have troubled me. What sort of world will it be in 20 years’ time?
The world is overpopulated now. Much of the immigrant situation is due to this.
Will we get on top of climate change? I fear not to any degree.
I ask myself do I feel blessed by the prospect of 20 years?
The short answer is no but on the other hand it will be interesting to see how it pans out.
