THE man who reportedly stabbed a victim, who is fighting for his life, has been charged and will appear in court tomorrow.
At around 1am on Saturday, a 27-year-old Trowbridge man was stabbed in Charlotte Square, just off Timbrell Street, where he sustained a puncture wound to his chest.
Within two hours, Tyrone Triggs, 36, of no fixed abode, Bradford on Avon, was arrested by police and he has now been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates' Court on Monday.
The victim was rushed to Southmead Hospital yesterday and is in a serious condition.
