BRADFORD on Avon pie company Eat Square has temporarily opened a new pop-up restaurant in Bath but it needs £20,000 to permanently take up residence there.

Owner Alex Joll has opened Eat Square’s first restaurant in an empty unit, which has been disused for a year, at the end of Walcot Street.

The company has popped up here for January and are running a Crowdfunder project to help secure a permanence residence there, along with some refurbishment work.

“I am really excited about this new venture and hopefully people can help us with the Crowdfunder so that we can stay here permanently,” said Mr Joll.

“In the past we have had great support from our Crowdfunding initiatives, so I certainly think it is doable.

“We have four weeks to raise the amount which may not seem like very long, but we have already had a great response in Bath on top of our following in Bradford on Avon.”

It is open from 8.30am-4pm, from Monday to Saturday, this month.
