THE decision to call off all outdoor markets on March 1 and 2 has been made by Wiltshire Council due to high winds and forecasts of snow.
On Thursday March 1, the Bradford on Avon market in Bridge Street car park will be cancelled, and on Friday March 2, the Warminster market in Central car park will also be cancelled.
A decision regarding markets planned for Saturday March 3 will be made before midday on March 2.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Council said: “We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but the health and safety of all market traders and members of the public is the primary concern during these expected challenging weather conditions.”
