TROWBRIDGE Town Park will be packed once more on Saturday for the annual Active Festival.
Active Trowbridge, along with sponsors Chandler’s Travel and McCarthy and Stone, are putting on the free event that runs from 11am-4pm.There will be a climbing wall, a roller disco rink, sand pits, a water slide, plenty of craft activities and some lovely fluffy alpacas to fuss over.
Hayley Bell, head of leisure services at Trowbridge Town Council, said: “We can’t wait to welcome everyone to this fantastic summer event, and it’s going to be even more so with the brilliant summer weather continuing.”
Trowbridge Museum will also have a stand on the day and their volunteers will be handing out activity packs to start children off on their discovery trail. Children will need to solve clues and collect items in the park before heading off to the first activities at Court Street Gallery.
