STAFF, residents, relatives and the local community came together at Henford house to enjoy their annual Garden Party that was held in the home’s gardens to raise money for Dorothy House, and a member of staff was rewarded for their service.
The party was opened by Warminster Mayor Tony Nicklin and a representative from the charity.
The home hosted a variety of activities throughout the day, including a BBQ, Tombola stall, live music with, balloon making, flower and craft stalls, children's games and a raffle, where by most of the prizes were donated by local business’s.
During the day, Henford House presented a long service award to June Trippick for working at the home for 10 years.
Resident’s, Daphne, Mae and Ted, said: “We all thoroughly enjoyed it.
"We were surrounded by lots of great people, and the refreshments kept flowing.
"The weather could not have been better.
"Staff did a great job, not just on the day, but organising the event and getting everyone together.”
The event was enjoyed by both residents and guests.
