A new exhibition showcasing more than 100 images taken by staff and visitors has gone on display at Longleat.

Longleat Photographer of the Year, which is running in the Longhouse until 27th March, celebrates the beauty and character of Longleat, the surrounding estate and its exotic animals.

Longleat’s Daisy Mercedes explained: “All the images have been taken either by visitors and posted on social media or by members of staff and represent a highly personal and unique exhibition.

“We have always been amazed at the standard of photographs taken by our visitors over the years and posts on social media, so we decided to create an exhibition to celebrate their achievements.

“There are also a number of highly-talented photographers working here and this is a great way to share their images, which often feature close up shots of many of the exotic animals, with a wider audience.”
