It’s National Pet Month, the perfect excuse to show off some of your adorable pets.

We all know that our four-legged friends can play a huge part in our lives - becoming one of the family.

So we wanted to feature some of your adorable pets, as well as share our top tips on how you can celebrate with them in Wiltshire.

Spa day
There’s probably nothing your pets will love more than a bit of TLC. Why not take them along to the new dog salon over in Westbury?

Periwinkles Dog Parlour in Westbury is all about giving dogs the best groom, and they are in safe hands with Emily Rose, who got into running the business because of her passion for spending time with animals.

A rustic retreat

If you’re a rabbit owner, sometimes it can be hard to find the perfect person to pop in and spend enough time with hutch-kept pets if you’re going on holiday.

But the Rustic Rabbit Retreat in Trowbridge ticks all the boxes, it seems.

The holiday home offers guinea pigs and rabbits spacious hutches in a safe shed at night- large, partially covered enclosures with tunnels and chewing frames on the grass during the day.

Work hard, play hard

For a balance of fun and learning, it seems there’s no better place for dogs in Wiltshire than at Lily’s barn.

The dog daycare centre in Chippenham was set up as the ideal solution for people who want the best possible care for their dogs whilst they are out at work.

It’s a bit like school, but for dogs with a day full of socialising, activity, play and cuddles.

The centre is set within acres of farmland close to junction 17 of the M4, near Chippenham in Wiltshire.

Stable life

For the horsy types, treating your noble steeds is always a special occasion- with regular pet shops often not incorporating equine products on their shelves.

Why not head out to Equiclass in Calne to grab some new accessories to make your rides feel extra special?

The shop offers Wiltshire’s horses and humans bespoke Italian boots and equipment, following the ethos of developing accessories not only for comfort and performance but also for style and elegance.

Where’s your favourite place to spend quality time with your pet, or buy them a treat or two?
