The BBC’s I Escaped to the Country came back for its third episode of Season 7.

The series revisited a couple who previously moved to the Wiltshire countryside to find out how they are getting on in an episode which aired earlier this week (October 26).

Presenter Denise Nurse reunited with homebuyers Andrew and Becky who were young newly-weds when they were featured on Escape to the Country ten years ago.

It came at a time when they were keen to escape the bustling city for a slice of Wiltshire paradise after outgrowing Andrew's bachelor pad in London.

Keen for a simpler way of life, they started their search in Honey Street in Pewsey to show them a Grade II listed cottage.

The unique home had plenty of period features to tempt them, and they found themselves drawn to the unconventional layout, with the family bathroom and two bedrooms on the ground floor.

It was on the market for £399,000.

The show then took them over to the village of Bradenstoke in the original episode, where they viewed a different style of property.

Although more modern in appearance, the property used to be a farmhouse and actually dated back to the 1800s.

They loved the airy nature of the house and fell in love with the spacious aspect of the house.

The pair gasped in shock when it was revealed that the sprawling home was only on the market for £450,000.

For the third and final viewing, they were then shown the programme's staple "Mystery House", a final property which is often picked out by the producers as a wild card option.

They were taken back to Bradenstokeke and toured around the 17th Century, Grade II listed home.

The former pub was converted in the mid-90s, and captured Becky and Andrew's attention as soon as they stepped inside.

The house was on the market for £450,000, to the couple's delight, and made an offer- moving in in March, 2013.

Andrew said: "It's as close to perfect as could be found."

Almost ten years later, the programme came back to visit them again and found that the pair were happily settled in their dream home.

And it seems the county of Wiltshire, and Bradenstoke has truly won over the hearts of the couple over all the years.

Andrew confirmed at the end of the visit, saying: "We won't leave the village."
