Forensics, police at scene of suspected cannabis factory in Amebsury

Two people including a teenage boy have been arrested after a suspected cannabis factory was found in a unit at the Beacon Centre. 

It comes after neighbourhood officers, supported by CID and specialist officers, carried out a drugs warrant this morning.

Broken glass can be seen on the floor of the entrance to the unit, and there is a strong smell of weed on the estate.

Colleagues from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service attended in support to ensure the safety of officers attending the scene. 

Officers are expected to remain at the scene until at least tomorrow while the scene is made safe, and evidence gathered.
