It's been a vintage year for steam loco visits to Wiltshire.

Some of the most famous engines chuffed into the county, from Duchess of Sutherland to one of the fastest steam locomotives ever built - the Sir Nigel Gresley - in the first full programme of rail excursions since before the Covid pandemic hit.

Throughout the year, rail enthusiasts have been blessed with some incredible moments. They were able to watch as Clun Castle returned to the place it was built during a journey from the Midlands to Bath.
