Three Wiltshire artists have joined forces to create a new exhibition in one of Trowbridge’s most prominent vacant retail shop units.
Lou Baker, Juliet Duckworth and Alyson Minkley are staging an exhibition of immersive and interactive artwork at the former M&Co shop at 2-3 Silver Street, Trowbridge.
The Social Scaffolding art collective is being supported by the Arts Council for England, Bath Spa University and Emerge.
Entry is free to anyone who wishes to come along to get involved or look around.
They say: “It’s free and not like a normal art gallery with ‘Do Not Touch’ signs, in fact we encourage you to explore the artworks and invite you to get involved."
Cllr Jo Trigg, the Wiltshire ward member for Trowbridge Lambrok, said: “This art project will be in the old M&Co shop space on Silver Street from September 22 to October 14. It looks quirky, engaging and brilliant.”
Residents and visitors are invited to drop in between 12 noon and 5pm on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from September 22 to October 14 or arrange a special session for a community group or school.
