Three teenagers were due to appear in court accused of false imprisonment and armed burglary in Wiltshire.

The boys, aged 16, 15 and 14 have been charged with aggravated burglary after a reported incident at Fisherton De La Mere, near Warminster, on Wednesday, December 27.

Their identities are protected by law.

They are accused of entering and stealing from a home while armed.

The 16-year-old and the 14-year-old were allegedly in possession of a pistol during the reported burglary while the 15-year-old is accused of having a pistol and a bladed article.

The trio have all been accused of unlawfully and injuriously imprisoning two victims in Fisherton De La Mere on the same date.

They then allegedly stole an Audi belonging to one of these victims.

The 14-year-old boy has been charged with driving this vehicle dangerously on the A303 as well as possessing a Class B drug.

Other offences are alleged to have been committed by the young defendants earlier this month, including the theft of a BMW 1 series from the area and a burglary with intent to steal at the same property on December 12.

All three boys were scheduled to appear in Swindon Magistrates Court at 9.45am on Friday, December 29.
