Wiltshire Council is encouraging people to attend the next Ask the Leader event that will take place in Warminster.

On Wednesday, January 24, residents will have the opportunity to meet Councillor Richard Clewer and ask the leader about the council’s current objectives and priorities.

The event will be held in Warminster Library from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.

Previous events have taken place in Chippenham, Devizes, Westbury, Trowbridge, Salisbury, Southern Wiltshire, Calne and Melksham.

Cllr Richard Clewer said: "Thank you to everyone who came along to an Ask the Leader event in 2023, it has been really useful to meet people face to face and hear their experiences of local issues.

“We've had some really good discussions around possible solutions to local issues and I've taken these forward following events.

“In 2023 I held events in eight community areas and I look forward to visiting the rest of the county this year.

"The next event takes place in Warminster on 24 January and I would encourage residents to come along and ask me any questions and find out more about the work we are doing.

"These events are a great way to ensure our priorities reflect those of our local communities.

Questions can be submitted in advance to communications@wiltshire.gov.uk for those who cannot attend the event.
