Police are investigating after two cars were set on fire outside a Wiltshire children’s home.
At around 4am on Monday, January 29, Wiltshire Police officers and Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Warminster Road in Westbury.
There had been a report made of two vehicles on fire in the car park of a residential children’s home on the street.
One of the vehicles that was set on fire is believed to be a stolen vehicle from the Sussex area, according to the force.
The police also believe that this vehicle was initially set on fire and this spread to the second vehicle.
Officers are now calling for any potential witnesses to come forward with information which could help their ongoing enquires.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson: “We are appealing for witnesses and information following an incident of arson in Westbury.
“If you witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, please call 101 and quote crime reference number 54240010700.
“Alternatively, call CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
