Five plots of land are on the market at a proposed business park described as the “new commercial landmark” of a Wiltshire town.

The SouthPoint Business Park is a major commercial development being delivered by Baylis Estates off the A350, between the Lackham and Chequers Roundabouts near Chippenham.

The site is currently being marketed with five plots available ranging in size from 6 to 10 acres.

This comes after months of work to construct a new roundabout on the A350 serving the proposed industrial park.

SouthPoint Business Park has planning consent to become a major logistics, industrial and employment site across 44 acres of land.

In total, 500,000sq feet of potential commercial space is available to either buy or rent, and each plot could be divided or expanded, according to commercial property advisor Whitmarsh Lockhart.

Typical uses of units at the business park will include office, logistics, industrial, and motor trade.

The developers added that a range of design and build packages are available to meet the requirements of individual businesses.

It is hoped the new development will become a landmark in Chippenham.

The listing said: “The intention is to offer a fully serviced range of development opportunities and establish SouthPoint as a well maintained, landscaped, flexible business destination being the new commercial landmark in the town.”
