The centre of Swindon and the SN1 postcode is the cheapest area in Wiltshire to buy a property, new figures reveal.

Cardinal Steels and Online Marketing Surgery have created their House Price Report, using property price data from HM Land Registry, to rank postcodes in Swindon and Wiltshire based on their average house price. 

The findings, from January 2023-2024, state Swindon centre and the SN1 postcode have an average house price of £240,953, whereas Blunsdon and the SN26 postcode is the most expensive at £502,375.

Across Wiltshire as a whole, several places in Swindon make up the least expensive areas, whereas Marlborough and the SN8 postcode have the highest house prices at £601,406.
