Following 2 heavy defeats in there previous games Bradford had obviously worked hard at defending at training, and coupled with some woeful finishing from Devizes they nearly pulled off a surprise result.

The first half was virtually completely played in the Bradford half, a fact born out by the Devizes Keeper Toby Buller only touching the ball twice.

Despite good work from both Jack Holland and Cameron Reader ,who dominated the midfield, the final ball through didn't find the forwards.

When the ball did get to the forwards (Callum Barnes and Tom Carey) they showed none of there normal composure in front of goal, either miss kicking or scuffing the shot wide.

The first goal came after 15mins and was scored by Cameron Reader who controlled a goal kick on the half way line and drove into the box and his slightly miss hit shot deceived everybody and found the bottom corner of the goal.

The second half continued in much the same style but resolute defending from Bradford kept Devizes at bay and as the half continued they looked more dangerous on the break, with the Devizes defence of Luke Carey and Joe Dilling having to be cautious.

The best chance for Devizes to double there lead fell to Ben Thompson, who from 5 yards out was denied by a brilliant save from the Bradford keeper.

Devizes finally managed to double there advantage when a cross from Thomas Woodman was turned home by Ciaran Webster at the far post.

The final whistle brought relief to the Devizes contingent and a few 'what ifs/if only ' from the Bradford side, who surely if they play like that each week will soon start getting the results.

Both sides should be congratulated on the spirit the game was played in which was a credit not only to both sides but to the league as well.
