Police in Warminster have asked people to get in touch about incidents of anti-social behaviour after reports of a motorcycle being ridden illegally across recreation ground on Saturday.

Officers were called to fields between Alcock Crest and Fore Street at about 4pm after receiving reports of a motorcycle being ridden around the recreation area where children were playing.

Inspector Dave Minty, of Warminster and Westbury Police, said: “The local community beat manager will be looking into this.

“It’s unacceptable first of all to be riding a motorcycle illegally and it was made worse by the fact that young children were around.

“If anyone has any other reports of anti-social behaviour we would urge them to contact us.”
