Pupils at a Warminster primary school enjoyed tucking into Indian cuisine for their lunch to mark the start of their topic on the country.
Paprika, in George Street, played host to more than 100 children from Princecroft Primary School on Thursday, who all sat down to lunch and sampled Indian cuisine.
Teacher Emma Cheeseman said: “It was a great way to grab the pupils’ attention and for them to enjoy learning.
“It was a new experience for many of the children and allowed them to learn about their new topic as well as many other life and social skills.”
The topic is inspired by headteacher Carole Godfrey, who recently taught at an Indian school as part of an exchange project.
Princecroft is now hoping to form a partnership link with St Anne’s School in Silbepwa, near Bangalore.
