A photographer from Westbury has made it through to the final 25 in a national photo competition.
Deborah Hudson’s entry, which features a girl using a mobile telephone on a beach, was voted in the top 25 entries for the national ‘Joy of Sound’ competition.
The competition is being run by Hear the World, a global initiative which aims to raise awareness about the importance of hearing and the consequences of hearing loss.
Hear the World recently teamed up with Digital SLR Photography Magazine to launch the competition, giving photographers the chance to win top prizes worth more than £2,000.
Entrants had to submit an original image which best captured the joy that sound can bring.
The overall winner of the competition will be announced later this month.
