A member of the Conservative Club in Westbury is organising a ball to raise money for Help for Heroes.
Heather Bates, of Orchard Road, Westbury, hopes to raise more than £1,000 at the event on June 19 at the club in Alfred Street, which will start with a champagne reception at 7.30pm.
Mrs Bates said: “We haven’t had a ball there for a while and they always go down well, so we wanted to do one in aid of a good cause.
“A few people who come into the club are former soldiers, so that’s why we decided Help for Heroes would be the best charity.”
As well as music the evening will also include a raffle.
Tickets for the black tie evening are £15 in advance, including a glass of champagne and food, or £20 on the door. To book, contact the Conservative Club or Westbury Heritage Centre on 01373 825784.
